I recently posted my critique and thoughts on the televisions series, “Smallville.” In the article, I posted how I thought Smallville sucks in comparison to its earlier seasons. The reason I even wrote the article is because I REALLY loved this show. Hands down this used to be the best show on television, and I rarely watch television. I don’t even have cable, I just have an antenna!
Anyway, I have never enjoyed a series like I enjoyed Smallville. And I have become more and more frustrated with the lack of quality of the show as of recent. So that is why I finally decided to flesh out a post and share my thoughts on it.
Since I usually don’t have comments enabled on this blog (mostly because my various blogs get so much traffic that I don’t have time to respond to all of them), I decided that I wanted to discuss the topic in more detail. So I posted part of my original blog post on the CW’s official Smallville forum to hear what other fan’s thought.
I had some great replies. Some people praised my post, and made some great points of their own. Others disagreed with much of what I said, but did so in a respectful way and maturely shared their reasoning on why they disagreed. One person did go off on some absurd rant disagreeing with my post.
So I replied and made the one person look, shall I say, less than intelligent. They later replied again, and my thread was mysteriously closed within minutes of her reply. Furthermore, they went and deleted the thread (isn’t that immature??).
I swear, it almost seems as if the CW people have their relatives on the board. They get so defensive and delete anything that critiques the show, or goes against anything they disagree with. Some members told me that if you post anything negative about the Lois/Clark relationship, you will basically get deleted.
So sad…
