How to Make Japanese Pink Shrimp Sauce Like Restaurants

This recipe is for making Japanese Pink Shrimp Sauce. I have looked everywhere for a recipe that tastes like the pink sauce you get at the Japanese restaurants with your rice. After some diligent web surfing, I found a good recipe but I have added some of my own ingredients to make it taste even more like it. Not only is this recipe easy to make, but it calls for inexpensive ingredients. It is sure to please your taste buds.

Here are step-by-step instructions on how to make this recipe:

Ingredients to Make Pink Japanese Shrimp Sauce:

1 cup of Mayonnaise
4 teaspoons of Granulated Sugar
3 teaspoons of Apple Cider or Rice Vinegar
2 teaspoons of Melted Butter
1/2 cup of Ketchup
1/2 teaspoons of Garlic Powder
1/2 cup of Water

Begin by taking all of the ingredients above and mix them into a bowl. Mix until it is completely smooth. While mixing, sample the sauce to make sure it is what you like. Some people like it more tangy and if that is you add more vinegar and ketchup. On the other hand, if you like it sweet add about 1 to 1/2 more teaspoons of sugar. Then chill this mixture for about 10 minutes in the refrigerator.

Once it has chilled, enjoy it! This sauce is good on salads, rice, dipping sauce with chicken or steak, and whatever else you desire!
